Summertime Moss (Blackberries)

The white flowers and green, emergent berries offer only a hint of the autumn pleasures of blackberry pies and jam! But like the nettles, they extract a price if you’re not careful as spiny tendrils snake though vegetation and across paths – so fast you can almost see them growing!  And left alone, thickets grow up, making the paths impenetrable.
