Description
This 2025 Calendar is a celebration of Rusholme’s magnificent poplar standing where Rusholme Grove meets Park Range and Aylesford Road.
Recently awarded a tree preservation order after lobbying by local residents, she is female, spreading fluffy white cotton seeds like snow in June. Her exact origins are unknown, but she is likely to be between 80 and 150 years old.
We are proud to celebrate a special Manchester tree right here on our doorstop. We hope you enjoy her throughout 2025 as we do year in, year out, and that we all celebrate and protect Manchester’s mature trees for future generations.
