Mossy Autumn (Reflection)

Taken after a night of heavy rain, a multi-stemmed birch is reflected in the bog pool beside which it has rooted. Behind it the cut-over peat surface is visible all the way to the distant woodland belt which marks the boundary of The Moss. A bright sky with clouds backlights the scene and heightens the reflection.
