Mossy Autumn (Birch and Broom)

On a late October visit, I was struck by the straight near vertical dark green stems of a Broom bush pushing towards the pale blue sky in front of a young Birch sapling fluttering in the breeze. For me, the resultant image is a symphony of form, shape, colour and light celebrating autumnal beauty.
